A man has died, and a woman is accused of shooting him late Friday night.
The Colorado Springs Police Department said it received a complaint about a disturbance just after 11:30 p.m. Friday in a neighborhood near the Patty Jewett Golf Course. They stated that the call was for an address on East Buena Ventura Street.
When they arrived, they reported finding a male who had been shot in the torso. He was rushed to the hospital and later died, according to authorities.
They stated they discovered a woman was involved, and she most likely shot the male during the initial disturbance.
Danna Corral-Montelongo, 23, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
