Tornadoes might strike five states in the U.S. on Friday, May 1.
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch in five states on Friday, May 1. Strong storms may also bring significant thunder and lightning, as well as heavy rain and wind.
According to Severe Weather Outlook, five states in the United States have a 2 percent probability of tornadoes on Friday:
- Texas
- Louisiana
- Mississippi
- Alabama
- Florida
