SAFE Alert canceled after 70-year-old Mesa man found safe

Authorities on Sunday have canceled a SAFE Alert for a 70-year-old Mesa man who went missing on Monday.

The Mesa Police Department reported that Terry Dominice had been found safe.

He was last seen wandering near Country Club and Rio Salado Parkway on Monday, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

According to DPS, he was wearing khaki jeans and a blue T-shirt with the words “We Need Christ” across the chest. He is 5 feet, 1 inch tall.

He has a medical problem that causes him to become disoriented or quickly confused.

SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as a means of informing the public about missing people aged 65 and up, as well as missing people with dementia or developmental/cognitive problems.
