One woman arrested after stealing over $10K from Dollar Tree in Pennsylvania

A Dauphin County woman is facing charges after police reported that over $10,000 in bank deposits went missing from a Dollar Tree in York County.

According to Fairview Township Police, the inquiry began when the Dollar Tree on Old York Road reported missing bank deposits totaling $10,480.54.

According to police, Onnesty Bruner-Mitchell, 29, of Harrisburg, acknowledged altering deposit records in order to mask financial deficiencies at the store.

Bruner-Mitchell was charged with theft by unauthorized taking.

Authorities say the inquiry is still ongoing.

The Fairview Township Police Department announced the accusations Wednesday.
