Four New York men are being held on multimillion-dollar bonds after being found trafficking huge amounts of cocaine in Greenville, according to court documents.
Greenville police issued arrest warrants for Joel Figuereo, 29, Steven Furmin, 29, Aaron Garcia, 28, and Freudin Rodriguez, 31, on Thursday, May 14. Each faces two cocaine trafficking charges.
Warrants reveal that the charges include 400 grams or more of cocaine. In North Carolina, such a sum is classified as a Class D felony, punishable by a mandatory prison sentence of 175 to 222 months and a minimum fine of $250,000 if convicted.
All four individuals were brought to Pitt County Jail and are being held on $3 million bail.
So yet, authorities have not provided any new information regarding the case or whether more arrests are possible.
