Police are seeking the driver who nearly hit a child as they exited a school bus.
According to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle drove passed a school bus with caution lights and a notice in Augusta Township’s 6300 block of Willow Road, nearly hitting a child. The incident was reported to the police on Wednesday, May 20.
The child was not wounded, according to police, who described the act as “reckless and nearly tragic.”
Photos from the scene show a four-door, dark-colored vehicle passing the bus near a child.
