Multiple rounds of rain and storms are forecast for Wednesday, May 27, following a wet Memorial Day weekend, raising flood concerns across Central Ohio.
A flash flood warning has been issued for Franklin, Fairfield, and Licking counties until 1:15 p.m., with 2.5 to 3 inches of additional rainfall expected on May 27.
Storms may also bring damaging wind in central and southwest Ohio during the afternoon, the NWS said in a hazardous weather outlook.

Flooding also forced the temporary closure of Olentangy Caverns in Delaware County on Wednesday as heavy rain continued to impact central Ohio.
The attraction, located at 1779 Home Road near Delaware, posted a video to Instagram around 11 a.m. May 27 showing floodwater impacts on the property. “Welp, let’s try again tomorrow. Stay safe out there,” the caption read.
