A 22-year-old man faces a murder charge after a shooting left another man on a southeast Dallas highway service road Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
At 12:46 p.m., Dallas Police officers responded to a shooting complaint near the 13600 block of the eastbound C.F. Hawn Freeway service road.
Authorities concluded that Domnique Wrice, 42, was shot by Jordan Brown, 22.
Dallas Fire-Rescue personnel responded to the scene, where Wrice died from his injuries.
Following the incident, Brown was apprehended in Fate, Texas, a Rockwall County suburb located about 30 miles northeast of the crime scene. He was then transported back to Dallas Police Headquarters.
Brown has been charged with murder and placed into Dallas County Jail.
