Multiple guns and drugs were discovered in a Central Florida home.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Gang Unit recently served a warrant at a Tampa home, and three suspects were arrested as well.
During the search, detectives discovered many firearms, including a Glock 22, two AR-15-style rifles, and a semi-automatic shotgun. They also found 1.25 pounds of cannabis, a trafficking quantity of oxycodone, cocaine, and narcotics paraphernalia.
According to local law enforcement, the arrests included the following:
Jayshod Nereus, 30, who had an outstanding warrant for reckless driving, is now facing additional accusations, including armed possession of cocaine, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, and possession of a short-barreled rifle.
Janos Borgella, 26, faces allegations including armed possession of a narcotic substance with intent to sell and armed trafficking in oxycodone (25-100 grams), among other charges.
Ira Strappier, 32, was also brought into prison on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear.
