A 15-year-old boy has been charged as an adult in the fatal shooting that occurred earlier this year in Hollywood.
According to online jail records, Gentle Edwards was transported from juvenile incarceration to the Paul Rein incarceration facility in Pompano Beach on Thursday.
He was charged with first-degree murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to Hollywood police, Edwards shot Robin Bouza Jr., 17, just before 9:30 p.m. on April 22 in the 7300 block of Farragut Street.
According to police, Bouza was pronounced deceased at the scene.
On May 28, Edwards surrendered to officials at the Hollywood Police Department.
Investigators have not announced the motive for the shooting.
