A man has been sentenced for his role in a drug conspiracy on June 25.
Mark Craythorn Thompson, 63, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and received a 60-month prison sentence, followed by four years of supervised release.
According to the United States Attorney’s Office, Thompson picked up a package containing 997.3 grams of fentanyl in Detroit, Michigan, on September 28, 2023.
The package had been shipped from Arizona by US mail.
Thompson aimed to distribute fentanyl around Detroit.
