A SAFE Alert issued more than two weeks ago for a missing Phoenix man was canceled on Thursday, according to authorities.
Eugene Glass, 80, is safe after officials found him in a hospital.
When the notice was issued on July 1 night, Glass had last been spotted near First Avenue and Jackson Street that morning.
Glass suffers from a medical issue that causes him to become easily lost or confused, and he needs a red walker.
He was described as 5’11” and 168 pounds, with brown eyes and a bald head.
SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as a means of informing the public about missing people aged 65 and up, as well as missing people with dementia or developmental or cognitive problems.
