A Alleged member of the West Texas Chango Tango gang was apprehended last week in Northeast El Paso.
Joe Adam Alderete, who was wanted by law enforcement, was discovered at an apartment complex in the 9600 block of McCombs Street on August 25 after the El Paso County Constable’s Office, Precinct 3, got information on the “wanted offender.”
Alderete was wanted on two convictions for assault and family violence, as well as for breaking his parole. He was charged of stalking.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit joined the search to apprehend the 36-year-old.
Alderete was arrested after authorities confirmed his presence in one of the apartments. He was booked on the outstanding warrants.
