A Mississippi Powerball player won $50,000 in the drawing on September 23, 2026.
According to the Mississippi Lottery, the Moss Point player has won the sixth $50,000 Powerball prize in Mississippi since July 1, 2026.
The winning ticket was purchased from Midway Food Mart in Moss Point. Officials claimed the individual did not select the $1 Power Play option, which carried a 5X multiplier Wednesday night and would have increased the $50,000 jackpot to $250,000.
With no jackpot winner in Wednesday night’s drawing, the Powerball jackpot rises to an estimated $360 million on September 26, 2026, with a cash value of $153.6 million.
