A Mississippi woman faces a felony charge after allegedly sending death threats via text message, according to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office.
Rodnise Anderson, 28, was arrested following an investigation that began on September 22, when a victim reported receiving threatening text messages.
Investigators identified Anderson as the suspect and charged her with one count of cyberstalking. Deputies detained her in Pittsboro and transferred her to the Lafayette County Detention Center.
The judge then set Anderson’s bond at $10,000. The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the situation.
