Big Bend Area Fireworks Fundraiser Planned
POMEROY, Ohio – The Big Bend Area Fireworks are being planned for 2023 and to help cover expenses, a fundraiser has been planned.
On August 1, 2022 There will be a fundraiser on Facebook. According to organizers, “The goal is to raise funds to make the fireworks bigger and better in 2023 without having to depend on donations from our local small businesses.”
Items will be up for auction via the “Big Bend Area Fireworks 2023 Fundraiser”. Items will be auctioned from August 1 at 12 a.m. to August 7 at p.m. Pick ups for items won can be at the Pomeroy Police Department. For full details on the rules of the auction, see the event on Facebook.
It had been a long time since there had been fireworks in Pomeroy for Independence Day. The celebration returned for 2022 and organizers are looking to make the event bigger and better for next year.
