Maralene Janet Kimes, February 5, 1935-December 25, 2022.
On Christmas morning 2022, Maralene was called home to receive her greatest gift.
She has been reunited with her parents, Bill and Virginia Hoselton; her husband of 52 years, Clayton; her brother, Bill (Pat); son, Scott; granddaughter, Kristin Kister and grandson, Alan Barringer, all of which she had sorely missed.
Maralene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and member of the Eden United Brethren in Christ Church in Reedsville, Ohio, where she was the pianist for many decades.
She will be greatly missed by daughters, Chryll (Jim) Koster, Marsha (Kevin) Cowdery and son Jeff (Dee) Kimes; her grandchildren, who she made a major impact on their lives, Justin (Heather) and Jessica Koster, Jeffrey, Eric (Shannan), Kelsey Kimes, Stacey (Coy) Johnson and Bradley Kimes; great-grandchildren, Lilli, Baird and Addi Koster, Baylee, Cason and Will Johnson and Arwen, Sam and Ezra Kimes and daughter-in-law, Rae Lynn.
Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022, Eden United Brethren Church in Reedsville, OH, with Aaron Martindale officiating. Burial will follow in the Eden Cemetery,
Visitation will be held at the church Thursday, one hour prior to the service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH.
