Pamela Sue Parker

Pamela Sue Parker, 64, of Pomeroy, OH, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington, WV. 

She was born Aug. 27, 1958, in Parkersburg, WV, daughter of the late Jack Randall and Carol Roberts Valentine. 
Pamela was a member of Mercy’s Mission Church for almost 20 years and dearly loved her church family. She loved the babies dearly and enjoyed helping with Sunday School.

 
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Lester Parker; daughter, Leslie and Shawn Rayburn; son, Lester Parker II and Christie Hess; 10 grandchildren, Cody (Shayla), Connor (Mallory), Colten (Hannah), Gary (Katie), Matt, Lester III (Faith), Leigha, Chad, Jaycee and Amoriah; 3 great-grandchildren, Kingsleigh, Bryar and Grayson; brother, Randy and Brenda Valentine; 2 sisters, Melody and Cecil Dietrich and Hope Hoskinson and special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ralph and Jenny Parker. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Mercy’s Mission Church, 47439 Riebel Road, Long Bottom, OH, with Pastor Rob Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Mound Cemetery. 
Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 6-8 P.M. at White-Schwarzel Funeral Home in Coolville, OH.
