Meigs County students receive recognition

MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio – Students from Meigs County received a letter of recognition from Representative Jay Edwards, for their work on the About Hope Always Mental Health Summit held on May 12, 2023.

The summit brought the students from all three school districts in the county together to talk about mental health. The event had speakers to talk to the students, swag bags, and handouts giving information on receiving help. The students of the three schools put this AHA mental health awareness day together.

Edwards stated in the letter, “Their dedication and vision in conceptualizing and executing this event have not only raised awareness but have also initiated conversations that will have a lasting impact on the well-being of Meigs County.”
