On September 11, 2025, the Oberlin Police Department requested that detectives from the Allen Parish Sheriff’s Office examine a report of indecent behavior that had occurred.
Detectives investigated the accusations and discovered that Tristan West (44) of Jennings, LA, was in a home with the guardian and two children who were sleeping in a separate room. The two youths awoke to find West in the same bed as them, doing filthy acts on himself in their midst.
The juveniles reported the incident to their guardian, who alerted law authorities. A warrant was obtained for West, charging him with two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles.
On September 21, 2025, Jennings Police located West, who was then arrested. West is currently in the Jefferson Davis Parish Jail awaiting extradition to Allen Parish, where he will be booked on the active warrant. West has a previous record of sexual abuse complaints.
