A man in Mississippi was sentenced to 20 years in prison for coercing dozens of girls online to send him sexually explicit images and videos of themselves, according to police.

Prosecutors stated that Sean Carson’s victims were as young as 12 years old.

They claimed that when the girls attempted to cease contacting Carson, he threatened to send images and texts to family members if they refused to continue communicating with him, providing personal information, and sending sexual images and videos.

According to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Mississippi, the FBI has identified 46 of the 100 victims.

Carson, 24, was sentenced to 20 years in jail and life on supervised release. Once released, he will be required to register as a sex offender anywhere he lives, works, or attends school.

Carson will have limited access to electronic devices during his supervised release, according to officials.
