A 23-year-old man was killed, and a 24-year-old woman is in critical condition after being shot in a parked car Saturday night in the Clearing neighborhood on the city’s Southwest Side, according to Chicago police.
According to police, the victims were inside a parked car in the 5900 block of South Normandy Avenue shortly after 7 p.m. when a dark-colored sedan drove by, and an unnamed offender took out a revolver and fired bullets at the victims from inside the offender’s vehicle.
According to authorities, the 24-year-old lady was wounded on both sides of the face and sent to a local hospital, where she was listed in critical condition. The 23-year-old man was shot numerous times in the torso and transferred to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead.
According to police, no one is in arrest, and investigators from the surrounding region are investigating.
