Three teenagers and one adult were detained after deputies discovered them with a stolen vehicle at a Montgomery County gas station.
On Saturday evening, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies discovered a stolen vehicle at the Marathon Gas Station, 2951 Salem Ave.
The stolen vehicle from Kettering was parked at the petrol station, and the occupants were entering and exiting the business.
As deputies approached the vehicle, all four individuals ran, according to the sheriff’s office.
Three of the occupants were caught on the spot by deputies, with the fourth apprehended a short time later by Dayton Police officers.
According to the sheriff’s office, three of the criminals were adolescents aged 15 to 16, while the last offender was 20 years old.
All three teenagers were sent to the Juvenile Justice Center for obstructing official business (2nd-degree misdemeanor) and receiving stolen property (4th-degree felony).
The adult offender was sent to Montgomery County Jail for obstructing official business (2nd-degree misdemeanor).
