Police: 2 Men Arrested For Driving Intoxicated In Horizon

Two men were recently detained and charged with driving while intoxicated on separate occasions in Horizon, according to the Horizon City Police Department.

Zachary Owen Taylore, 21, was detained on Sunday, Oct. 19, and Jesus Gallegos, 27, was arrested on Monday, Oct. 20, after showing signs of intoxication.

Gallegos was detained for running a stop sign at Darrington Road and Blair Drive. According to authorities, Taylore was nabbed following a traffic stop near Kestrel and Emerald Sands.

Taylore was arrested after a breath test revealed he was over the legal limit, while Gallegos was arrested following field sobriety tests.

Gallegos was put into the El Paso County Detention Facility with a $1,000 bond, as was Taylore.
