Farmers Bank Sponsors River City Players Summer Production
On Friday, May 23rd, Farmers Bank presented a $1,000 check to the River City Players to sponsor their August broadway musical production of The Drowsy Chaperone.
The Drowsy Chaperone is a Tony Award winning musical that highlights the Jazz-age shows of the 1920’s and the influence of those shows. The River City Players will perform this play on August 8th and 9th.

The River City Players is a nonprofit preforming arts organization. Their mission is to strive to keep the creative spirit alive in our under-served corner of Appalachia through a wide range of performances and special events that promote education, encourage artistic exchange and support the local economy.
