MEIGS COUNTY, Ohio – The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Meigs County and the surrounding areas.

According to the Naitonal Weather Service, beginning Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019 through Thursday, Jan. 10 snow is expected. Heavy squalls are possible which could make travel hazardous during the Wednesday afternoon commute and roads could remain slick through Thursday morning as temperatures fall well below freezing. Temperatures will be dropping as winter finally arrives to the region.

A chance of showers, mainly after 3 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 59. Breezy, with a southwest wind 8 to 13 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

A chance of showers, mainly before 7pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 32. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

A chance of snow showers, mainly after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 34. West wind 9 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
