Eastern Eagles Fall to Symmes Valley Vikings
The Eastern Eagles were defeated by Symmes Valley Vikings Friday night.

The first quarter was scoreless. The Vikings were working for a score and finally got on the board with a touchdown with 6:45 left in the second quarter. Two penalties with a face mask and unsportsmanlike conduct aided the Vikings drive toward scoring the touchdown. Their kick was good for the extra point making the score 7-0 Vikings.
Going into half time, it was 7-0 Symmes Valley, but the third quarter would see an answer from the Eagles. Ryan Ross tipped a pass in the end zone with 7:58 left in the third quarter to put the Eagles on the board making the score 7-6. The Eagles were trailing by one point.
The Vikings would begin widening the gap scoring another touchdown for 14-6 with 3:51 left in the third quarter. Shortly after that, Symmes Valley again scored when they stripped the ball and ran another touchdown in with 3:35 left in the third quarter making the score 22-6.
The Vikings scored again in the fourth quarter, but so did the Eagles. With 8:42 left in the fourth quarter, the Vikings led the Eagles 28-12. That is were the scored remained to end of the game.
Next week the Eastern Eagles are at home and set to play the Fairfield Christian Knights.
