Mary L. Shuler, 91
Mary L. Shuler, 91, of Racine, passed away, at 7:25 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 in the Overbrook Center, Middleport. Born February 22, 1931, in Racine, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Gretta Howell Simpson.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Racine United Methodist Church where she played the piano, was the director of the choir, and taught Sunday School. She was also a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest T. Shuler, daughters, Marjie Pierce, of Nelsonville, and Teri (Doug) Powell, of Racine, sons, Stephen (Wanda) Shuler, Kenneth Shuler, and David (Carla) Shuler, all of Racine, numerus grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. A sister, Lillian Hayman, of Racine, brother-in-law, Lynn (Karen) Shuler, of Tuppers Plains, and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Gerald “Smoke” Simpson, and Calvin “Bud” Simpson.
Services will be at the convenience of the family and interment will be in the Letart Falls Cemetery. The Cremeens-King Funeral Home, Racine is entrusted with the arrangements.
