Margaret Marie Powell
Margaret Marie Powell, 83, of Racine, Ohio, passed away on June 20, 2023, at Waterview Pointe in Marietta, Ohio.
She was born on June 21, 1939, daughter of the late James Harold and Minnie Susan Ramey Chattin.
She was a member of the Ravenswood Church of God. She was a devoted Christian. Margaret loved going to Walmart and vacationing in the Tennessee mountains. She was a nurse’s aide who worked in a nursing home for several years.
Margaret is survived by her children, son, James F. Powell (Debra K.) of Reedsville, OH; daughters, Juanita Ginther (Jeff) of Racine, OH, and Crystal Baker (Tim) of Logan, OH; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a sister, Jeanette Baldwin (Johnny) of Chillicothe, OH.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Powell in December of 2022.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood, WV with Pastor Conrad Marcum officiating. Burial will follow in Letart Falls Cemetery in Racine, OH.
Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Monday, June 26, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, time of service.
