Meigs County Early Voting Hours
The General Election will be Nov. 5, 2024, but you can vote in-person early. Early voting begins on Oct. 8. The deadline to register to vote is Oct. 7, 2024.
The Meigs County Board of Elections early voting hours are:
- Oct. 8-11 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Oct. 14-18 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Oct. 21-25 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Oct. 26 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Oct. 27 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
- Oct. 28 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
- Oct. 29 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
- Oct. 30-31 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Nov. 1 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Nov. 2 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Nov. 3 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Identification is required to vote.
There are several types of valid photo identification.
- Ohio driver’s license;
- State of Ohio ID card;
- Interim ID form issued by the Ohio BMV;
- A US passport;
- A US passport card;
- US military ID card;
- Ohio National Guard ID card; or
- US Department of Veterans Affairs ID card
All photo IDs must have the following:
- An expiration date that has not passed;
- A photograph of the voter;
- The voter’s name, which must substantially conform to the voter’s name as it appears in the Poll List or in the Poll Book
An unexpired Ohio Driver License, State ID Card, or Interim Documentation with your former address is an acceptable form of ID when your current address is in the poll book, according to the Ohio Secretary of State website.
