A woman was hospitalized after a shooting on Tuesday.
She was shot at about 1 a.m. on Poplar Street in the West End.
According to authorities, officers first reacted to a ShotSpotter activation. Upon their arrival at the scene, police found an 18-year-old woman wounded in the middle of the road.
The victim was sent to a hospital. She’s expected to survive. It is unknown if police have a suspect.
