Chicago police are investigating after discovering a woman shot to death on the city’s South Side on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said they discovered the woman unresponsive at 12:15 p.m. in the 600 block of East 134th Place in the Golden Gate area.
The victim had multiple gunshot wounds to the body and was declared dead on the scene. The victim’s identification had not been published as of Tuesday.
Area Two Detectives are conducting an investigation.
No other information was immediately provided.
