Akron Man Sentenced To Prison For Meth Trafficking Conspiracy

An Akron man was sentenced to prison for his involvement in a large-scale conspiracy to sell illegal narcotics in Summit County and nearby areas.

Antonio Guice, 42, was sentenced to 327 months (27.25 years) in prison after pleading guilty to the following charges in November 2025:

  • Conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine
  • Distribution of methamphetamine

According to a Department of Justice (DOJ) statement, he was also ordered to serve five years of supervised release after completing his prison sentence.

Guice was one of over 30 people arrested in September 2025 as part of an ATF law enforcement program that lasted 60 days and targeted Akron’s most violent neighborhoods.

According to court records, police accused Guice of trafficking substantial amounts of methamphetamine around the Akron region in August 2025.

During the conspiracy investigation, federal officials linked the sale of more than one pound of methamphetamine directly to Guice, according to the Department of Justice.

The ATF Columbus Division’s Cleveland Field Office, the Akron Police Department, Summit County Sheriff’s Office, Portage County Sheriff’s Office, Barberton Police Department, University of Akron Police Department, and the Ohio Adult Parole Authority conducted the investigations that resulted in the indictments for this initiative.
