A former employee at Elayn Hunt Correctional Centre has been taken into custody for allegedly arranging to provide an inmate two iPhones.
According to Louisiana State Police documents from late May, 24-year-old Camron Gryphon agreed in February while working at EHCC. In March, authorities learned of Gryphon’s alleged crimes.
Gryphon, who no longer works for Elayn Hunt, was arrested and booked into the Iberville Parish Jail on June 8 for misconduct in office and bringing contraband into a penal institution.
According to jail records, he secured a $20,000 bond and is now out of custody.
