Rhode Island State Police said a North Providence man wanted for murder in New York had been apprehended.
On Thursday, officers from the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force, the FBI, and the New York City Police Department captured Antonio Jimenez, 46, of North Providence.
Jimenez was wanted for first-degree murder. He was charged as a fugitive in Providence County District Court.
