3 Houston Men Apprehended In Hunt County And Charged In $40,000 Royse City Robbery, Police Say

Three Houston men are now in Hunt County jail after a traffic stop led authorities to recover around $40,000 thought to have been stolen in a Royse City robbery, according to the Crockett Police Department.

According to the department, a Flock camera alert assisted investigators in tracking down a car associated with the heist as it proceeded through Elkhart and into Houston County.

The vehicle was pulled over for speeding near Loop 304 and State Highway 7 West in Crockett.

According to the Crockett Police Department, authorities discovered that one of the passengers had an outstanding assault warrant out of Harris County. Investigators reportedly seized approximately $40,000 in cash, as well as masks, gloves, and apparel suspected to be related to the crime.

Edward Davion Cannon, 23; James Hoyd White; and Aaron Oscar Carter, 28, all of Houston, were arrested and placed into the Hunt County Jail on charges of engaging in organised criminal conduct. Their bonds were set at $75,000, according to jail records.
