Chicago police are investigating a deadly head-on collision in the Jackson Park neighborhood.
According to authorities, the incident occurred shortly after midnight on Sunday in the 6300 block of South Richards Drive.
According to police, the driver of a white car crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a silver car head-on.
A 26-year-old woman was killed while riding in the white automobile, according to authorities.
The other occupants of the white car, both 25-year-old men, were transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. According to police, one of the victims is expected to recover, while the other is serious.
The driver of the silver automobile was also severely injured.
No other information was available.
