The Pennsylvania Lottery said that a top-prize-winning scratch-off ticket was sold in Pittsburgh. As of this writing, the winner has yet to be announced.
According to the Pennsylvania Lottery’s official statement, one of its shops in Allegheny County recently sold a Million Dollar Win It All scratch-off ticket valued around $1,000,000. As the title suggests, this is the top reward that can be won with one of the game’s tickets.
Lottery authorities confirmed that the winning ticket was purchased at Nilkanth Convenience Corp. (Uni-Mart), 1601 Lowrie St., Pittsburgh. The retailer will receive a $5,000 incentive bonus for selling the winning ticket.
The Pennsylvania Lottery reminded players that they must claim their wins within one year of the win date. It also advised potential winners to sign the back of their tickets and promptly contact the lottery.
For example, Million Dollar Win It All is a $50 game with a top prize of $1 million. At debut, the game offered 20 such rewards. As it turns out, the Allegheny County winner is the game’s first large winner, with the Pennsylvania Lottery stating that 19 top prizes remain to be won.
In addition to the top prizes, the game offers 25 second-tier rewards totaling $100,000. More information about Million Dollar Win It All can be found on the official Pennsylvania Lottery website.
