A teen was apprehended on Monday after a shooting on Druid Park Avenue in Augusta, according to authorities.
Richmond County deputies arrested My’Asia Bell on Monday. According to jail bookings, she faces charges of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm while committing a felony.
The gunshot occurred at 1:07 a.m. on the 1300 block of Druid Park Avenue.
The incident report claims that Bell surrendered herself to deputies as they arrived on the scene.
According to the report, a kid had a single gunshot wound in her stomach.
The person was transported to the Wellstar MCG by EMS for treatment.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Bell remained in the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.
