The unidentified winner was playing the Virginia Lottery’s MONOPOLY Super Spin online instant game when the jackpot was hit.
She informed Virginia Lottery officials that she spent the morning thinking herself, “I shouldn’t be playing this. “I should not be playing this.”
Then, everything changed.””I closed my eyes and heard this ‘bling,” she explained. She received a notification that she had won the game’s progressive jackpot worth $863,941.”I said, ‘OMG, I won the jackpot,'” she subsequently told lottery authorities. “It’s just so unreal.”
Virginia law enables lottery winners to stay anonymous, therefore the lottery did not reveal her identity.
