UPDATE: The missing teen was found around 7:30 p.m. Sunday night, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
ORIGINAL: Police are seeking for a 17-year-old girl who went missing in 4S Ranch on Sunday evening.
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office stated deputies are looking for 17-year-old Joyce Yen, who her mother reported missing.
Joyce is 5’5″ tall and weighs 120 pounds. She was last spotted wearing a yellow jacket with black leggings and slippers.
According to deputies, Joyce’s mother received a distress signal from a location tracking device and attempted to contact her daughter’s phone, which was turned off.
Joyce’s last known location is Four Gee County Park. Deputies are utilizing a helicopter to aid in their search for her.
