There were two robberies early Friday morning downtown Chicago, Chicago police said.
The first occurred around 1:20 a.m. on the 600 block of West Van Buren Street in the West Loop.
According to CPD, a 28-year-old man was leaving a shop on the block when a white sedan carrying four suspects drove up next him.
According to CPD, one suspect pulled a revolver and demanded the victim’s stuff.
According to authorities, the man cooperated, and the suspects drove west on Van Buren.
About 90 minutes later, four suspects approached a 26-year-old male outside on the 400-block of North LaSalle Drive in River North.
According to authorities, the suspects kicked the victim and intimated that they had a weapon before demanding his stuff.
The victim consented, and the suspects entered a silver vehicle and proceeded north.
There were no injuries reported, and Area Three detectives are investigating.
