A mother is facing charges after officers found her four-year-old son alone and crying in the driveway of a Terrace Park home on Aug. 31.
When an officer asked the boy where his mother was, he led the officer to the back of a home on Wooster Pike, where a side door stood open.
There, the officer found the mother, Sadie Baker, unresponsive on the kitchen floor. Court papers state that a used needle, a burnt spoon and other drug paraphernalia lay next to her. The officer administered Narcan to Baker.
Prosecutors charged Baker with child endangering and possession of drug paraphernalia. She cannot have unsupervised custody of her son because of an active Child Protective Services case.
