Two Toledo women are facing criminal charges after allegedly leaving a toddler in a car while committing a burglary and assault.
Dericka Bratton, 21, and Tamicka Bratton, 20, both of Toledo, were arrested on Jan. 11 and charged with endangering children, aggravated burglary, and vandalism.
According to police affidavits, they left a three-year-old child in a car while carrying out a burglary. According to the charge paperwork, the two physically assaulted the victim and others inside the home, as well as causing severe damage to the victim’s vehicle.
According to the police affidavits, the women know the victim personally.
They both appeared in court on Monday morning, when a judge set their bonds at $50,000 each.
Dericka and Tamicka Bratton are due back in court on January 21.
