The California Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert early Thursday for two abducted children and an adult suspect who was last seen in Los Angeles County.
Authorities reported the last sighting of Romeo Ordonez, 12, and Sofia Ordonez, 9, in Santa Clarita at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Authorities last saw the suspect, Cristal Ordonez, 45, with the children. Her relationship with them was not revealed, and no other information concerning the abduction was offered.
Cristal Ordonez is described as 5 feet tall, weighing about 135 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Romeo Ordonez is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds. He has brown hair and eyes, according to the CHP. Sofia Ordonez stands 4 feet tall, weighs approximately 70 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes.
The three may be driving a black 2018 Kia Sorento with the California registration plate 8LRF237.
Anyone who sees the suspect, the children, or the car should call 911.
