23 Grams Of Crack Seized In Ravena Traffic Stop; 2 Rensselaer County Men Apprehended

Two Rensselaer County men were apprehended Monday night after deputies discovered over 20 grams of crack cocaine during a traffic stop in Ravena.

According to Craig Apple Sr., the stop occurred about 9:15 p.m. on February 16, 2026, when deputies pulled over a car for a traffic violation. During the inquiry, investigators identified the driver and passenger as Robert Bump and Keith Bruso, and both were caught with around 23 grams of crack cocaine.

Bump was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of illegally utilizing drug paraphernalia, which is a Class A misdemeanor.

Bruso is charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug paraphernalia, and second-degree criminal impersonation, all of which are felonies or misdemeanors.

Both guys were sent to the Albany County Correctional Facility as pre-arrest prisoners. They are expected to appear in Coeymans Town Court on February 17th at 10 a.m.
