Orlando Police Seized Drugs, Guns and 144 apprehended in One Week

Orlando police officers confiscated drugs and firearms as 144 people were apprehended in only one week.

The Orlando Police Department announced that while on patrol, officers confiscated illegal substances and 15 crime firearms from local streets last week.

In addition to the drug and firearm recoveries, police officers made 144 arrests as part of these enforcement activities, according to the OPD.

Law enforcement has been working hard to keep the Central Florida vacation city’s streets secure.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Orlando police had made 136 arrests in one week and seized 14 crime firearms, compared to 135 arrests and 24 crime guns the week before.
