A woman was shot dead on Monday afternoon in a northeast Houston apartment complex after an ongoing disagreement between neighbors, with the suspect claiming self-defense, according to authorities.
According to HPD, police responded to the shooting at 4:05 p.m. at 5117 Lavender Street, where they discovered a woman with a gunshot wound. According to police, the woman was carried to a hospital and later confirmed dead.
