A father and daughter have been arrested and charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Silver Spring.
Montgomery County Department of Police 3rd District detectives arrested William Andrew Dunn, 54, and Brittany Elaine Dunn, 24, both of Silver Spring, in connection with a stabbing on June 4 at a home in the 3700 block of Stepping Stone Lane.
According to detectives, the victim shared a house with the two suspects when William and Brittany Dunn reportedly assaulted her. Police report that the victim was stabbed in the upper chest.
Following an investigation, the two suspects were apprehended on June 11 in the 14900 block of Broschart Road in Rockville. They were apprehended by the US Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force.
William and Brittany Dunn were taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit and charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, and other crimes.
