Officers say they discovered a man’s body inside a white van on Southern Boulevard, causing them to restrict the street for several hours Monday night.
Police said they were summoned to 1919 Southern Blvd. around 7:30 p.m. Monday. There, they discovered an unconscious man inside a white vehicle parked in front of a barbershop.
Paramedics later discovered that the unnamed man had died.
For hours, investigators stopped the busy thoroughfare, which was lined with businesses, in search of any clues that could help them piece together what caused the man’s death.
Medical examiners are still attempting to identify the cause of death.
